We have made custom made bunk beds for families with lake home retreats, deer leases, bunkhouses and growing families. We build them in all sizes, queen, king, full, and of course twin - in extra long and or extra tall. We tailor each piece to your taste, whether it’s rustic, playful, or sophisticated. We create bunk beds in a variety of styles and combinations including loft bunk beds - which allows room for a study desk or chest underneath the sleeping area, L-shaped, standard, and stackables-enabling the bunk bed to be made into two separate beds. Trundle beds, storage drawers, day beds, and clip-desks can be crafted to match. We build each bed to be very study and safe, all edges on the beds are rounded over and sanded smooth for a safe and finished bunk bed. Beds are stained with Min-Wax; with the variety of stain colors available existing furniture can be closely matched. These beds are an excellent beginning for any bedroom. As you select your wood and stain, additional pieces can be added, assuring you that your finish will match as your furniture needs grow or change. Custom does not mean unaffordable, prices start as little as $200. Not only are the beds affordable, our beds are made of solid wood and are sturdier than most available in the retail market. You select the style of bed to fit your needs and we build them on our premise. Beds are usually ready to be picked up or shipped in 14 days. We make sure that each bed is safe and sturdy . We use #1 southern yellow pine to construct our top quality bunk beds. When used with our very strong bunkie boards, each bunk will safely support up to 400 lbs. All of our beds have rounded and sanded edges for a smooth finish. We use a ladder-end type bed. Each end can be used as the ladder to the upper bunk, which provides a 32" wide safe entry and exit from the upper bunk. Our bunk beds have two full length guardrails on both sides. Under Bed Drawers & Trundles <> <> Our Top Quality bunk Beds and platform beds are designed with 12" of space below the lower bed rail. This allows for using either under bed drawers or trundles Under bed drawers The large storage drawers have room to hold all sorts of childhood treasures, linens or clothes. Or, if you prefer, add the trundle for those inevitable sleepovers! Each unit is mounted on heavy duty casters. The pair takes up all the space under a twin bed. Bunk Bed Sizes We build them in standard twin, twin extra long, full, queen, or any custom sizes you my need. Our twin bed measure 421/2" W X 81"L. Add 6" for twin extra long beds. Full size bunk are 571/2" wide. Standard height is 67" our extra tall is 75" overall height, Our extra tall allow extra headroom even for adults and work well in a rooms with 8' ceilings. L-shaped bunk beds can be any combination of sizes, we recommend twin of twin xl for the lower bed. Custom Options & Sizes We specialize in building our bunk beds for you in custom sizes. Common changes are slightly shorter or taller bunk beds. If you change the length or the width of your bed it will require an odd size mattress. This may not be a good idea. Guard Rails All of our Top Quality bunk beds have two full length guard rails on both sides of the upper bed. Bunk Bed Styles We have five basic styles of bunk beds. Standards, Stackables, Lofts, L-Shape, Twin over full’s Assembling of bunk Beds Assembly is simple and easy. Head and foot boards are pre assembled. Rails are pre-drilled. The only tool necessary is a ½ inch wrench or socket. Two people make the job easier, but can be accomplished with only one. Assembly time is approximately 30-45 minutes. Complete instructions are included with your order. NOTE: Do plan to assemble you bed in the bedroom. What kid wouldn't go ape over sleeping in their own bunk bed? Every bed here is hand-crafted and solid wood with your choice of 20 different color stains. More sophisticated beds (Loft Beds) are made for the college student, available with storage to store that college wardrobe.
